Clay Mayfield
Clay is a Gracie Jiu Jitsu Brown belt under Royce Gracie. He is an instructor and a very successful Jiu Jitsu competitor, having competed in and won over 95 matches as a purple belt, 92 by submission. While he is extremely successful in the competition realm, he lives the Helio Gracie mindset of self defense, and this is the core of his philosophy and training. In addition to Royce, Clay trains under Jared Jessup at IQ Athletics. Clay also made his MMA debute in 2015 finishing his opponent in the first round via armbar in 40 seconds.
A small sampling of Clay's competition victories include:
• 2014 Gracie World Championships
- Purple Belt, Silver Medalist
• 2015 Gracie National Championships
- Purple Belt Gold Medalist, Gi & No Gi
• Respect 1 Invitation- Only Winner
• Missouri & Oklahoma State Champion
