Professor David Adiv
In this interview Marty speaks with professor David Adiv, 5th degree black belt and Co Founder of the original RGDA Association, which is now known as the Gracie Humiata association. He is the owner of Fightzone: Fit to Fight, a fighter clothing and products company, as well as the owner and head instructor of Gracie New Jersey. In the interview Professor Adiv discusses training Krav Maga in the Israeli military, Judo training, early training and trips to Japan with masters Royler and Rickson, being part of Royler Gracie’s creative team and assisting in two of his bestselling books: “BJJ Submission Grappling” and ‘Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Submission Essentials” (with Grand Master Helio Gracie). He also discusses the defensive mentality, his dogs, his relationship with Micky Gall, the notion of “when you get you give,” karma, free will, etc. Professor Adiv is a very interesting, knowledgeable, and insightful person, as clearly demonstrated in this interview.
